Women Take First While Men Grab Fourth at ESU RelaysPublished by
Friday night at the Stanford Invitational, senior Courtney Frerichs ran a career best as well as earned a first place finish in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase with her final time of 9:49.06 minutes. Not only does this rank her first in the WAC by well over a minute, but also resets her previous record for UMKC's women's steeplechase. Over in Emporia, Kan. at the ESU Relays, there were 21 Kangaroos who finished in the top three of their event.
