With the close of the fall 2013 semester, UMKC student-athletes once again demonstrated their focus on academics earning a department Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.23. 15 of 16 teams earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The teams with the highest cumulative GPA were Women's Golf at 3.60, Women's Cross Country at 3.47, Women's Basketball at 3.42, Women's Soccer at 3.40, and Women's Track and Field at 3.22. Several teams also improved their cumulative GPA from the previous year including Men's Track and Field now at 3.02 and Men's Basketball at 2.86.
