(Denver, Co.) -- Briana Carter shares WAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors with Grand Canyon's Moya Mckenzie for the week of Feb. 2 - 8. 

The Kansas City track and field teams had another solid meet at the Tiger Invitational on Friday, as the women came in second place out of six teams, and the men finished second out of five teams.

Friday, the Kansas City track and field team will travel to Columbia, Mo. to compete at the Tiger Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri. At 2:00 p.m. the field events will begin for the women followed immediately by the men.

The Kangaroos had a successful weekend at the Jayhawk Classic where several of the members of the squad ended up breaking school records and making the top 5 all-time performances in the UMKC Track & Field record book.
